Water lifted back to where the site needs it — or moved on where gravity cannot carry it.
When gravity runs out.
Gravity drainage needs fall, and fall needs either favourable terrain or deep, expensive trenching. On a flat site, a constrained site, or one where the discharge point sits higher than the collection point, gravity simply is not available.
A pumping station solves it: a sealed vertical chamber that receives the flow, holds a working volume, and lifts it under pressure to wherever it needs to go.
Two jobs it does
- Reuse. Lift stored or treated water back up to the plant for washdown, process make-up, irrigation or fire-water charging — closing the loop on site.
- Transfer. Move stormwater or sewage on to a main, a treatment works or a discharge point that gravity could never reach.
Ready to install
The station arrives as a complete vertical module — chamber, internal pipework, guide rails, valve set and access ladder — rather than as a pit to be built and fitted out on site. It is set on its base, connected, and commissioned.
Built for service
Pumps lift out on guide rails from the surface. Valves and the non-return set sit within reach of the access neck. Routine maintenance does not require entering the chamber.
Sizing
Duty is set by inflow rate, required head and the switching regime — typically duty/standby pumps with level control, so the station keeps running through a pump failure or a service visit. Send us the flow, the lift and the discharge point and we will specify it.
